It was a breath of fresh air in the Little Compton Community Center on March 6 as over forty people came out to share their views on town governance at our Open House event. We got a special announcement from Budget Committee member Andrew Moore as he stepped into the ring as out first LC Democratic candidate for town council. Glenn Sherman hosted a lively, inspiring evening of activities, discussion, and creative energy.

At our last committee meeting, we had the pleasure of hosting RI Rep Aaron Regunberg, who is running for Lieutenant Governor.

Sen. Sheldon Whitehouse (D-RI) spoke to a standing-room-only crowd at the Little Compton Community Center Tuesday evening. He discussed sea level rise and climate change and took many questions from the audience on legislation, political strategy, and opportunities for collaboration across the aisle. We are fortunate to have Sen. Whitehouse working on these issues for RI and the country.
