Our members are constantly engaged with our state and national representatives, and occasionally we come across messages that we think are relevant to the entire Little Compton community. The single international issue of the day that will have the most direct impact on the property values, ecology, and coastline of our town is climate change, and the single Senator doing the most to address the problem is Sheldon Whitehouse, RI-D.

The 19th Annual Pancakeand Johnnycake Breakfast on Memorial Day was a massive success! We had a record turnout, including friends from far and near, candidates for state office, Senator Whitehouse, and Rep Cicilline. We are so grateful to the many volunteers who put in long hours and lots of love to make the event happen. The new porch of the community center was a perfect setting.

On Wednesday evening March 14, The Little Compton School Committee will be hosting a round of meetings beginning at 5:30pm with a School Safety Forum, followed by a regular order meeting at 7:00pm and a final open session at 8:00pm to discuss school safety policy. We hope to see you there.
